What is Nēché (nee-shay)?

Nēché Collection by Shan Keith is a line dedicated to the designer’s late sister Ms. Santonya Nēché Oliver.  Shan lost his sister in 2008 due to a ruptured brain aneurysm.  He is dedicating his entire show in memory of her.  While we mourn her loss, this show will in no way, shape or form be a sad affair, but rather a celebration of Santonya’s life and the time she and Shan had together.

Show Concept

Nēché Collection by Shan Keith will be an exhibition dedicated to two of Shan’s loves… fashion and his big sister Santonya.  The show will serve as a platform to bring awareness to the cause of brain aneurysms and warning signs of the condition while also showcasing his talents.

The show will be held at Windows on Washington a contemporary event space in downtown St. Louis and will feature a total overview of Shan’s work from both his men’s and women’s collection. Like his sister would want it, the garments will convey Shan’s personal style, upbeat personality and his desire to create quality ready to wear attire.  After the show, the collection will be exclusively available at NV Showroom Boutique located in downtown St. Louis at 1909 Washington Avenue. The event will also be hosted by Pdub aka Pretty Willie

The night will also highlight the talents of Chris Draper, an artist and aspiring women’s shoe designer.  A creative art exhibit will showcase his self-designed shoe concepts.

A portion of the proceeds from the fashion show will benefit the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.  The Foundation is the nation’s only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support groups and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysms.

The Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established in Boston on August 19, 1994, as a public charity.  The Foundation developed from a close relationship between patients and healthcare professionals who identified the need for comprehensive information and support for brain aneurysm patients, their families, and the medical community.
